Our Montana Ursuline Experience brings together both men and women of all age groups, ranging from High School Juniors and Seniors to seasoned adults, encompassing a wide variety of backgrounds. We have two presenters for this program, Sr Rosemary Meiman, OSU who has experienced this history by working with Sister Irene Mahoney, author of Lady Blackrobes among other works and by spending 17 years in St Louis as the archivist and is currently working with archives in New Orleans. Pat Meisner is a retired elementary teacher and administrator, healing touch practitioner and member of the first cohort of the Living School for Action and Contemplation.

We experience both action and contemplation as we travel to a former Ursuline Mission in western Montana and both a former mission and an active mission here in eastern Montana. This is a great way to view God’s beauty of creation in the “Big Sky Country” of Montana. The heritage we explore is a piece of our own history. We have a one day presentation of the Plains Indians religious customs, traditions and dance by Don Fish, a member of the Blackfeet Tribe.

Our Montana Ursuline Experience indulges all senses as we come together to share this journey of learning and experiencing in the picturesque setting of Montana. This program is an exciting way to continue our mission and ministry today and into the future. The memories created by this program will last a lifetime!
